Project was developed as a competition proposal for a park pavilion in Edmonton. The pavilion provides a backdrop for numerous seasonal activities in the park. Weather patterns and weathering are explored in a series of material distributions inside of the pavilion and on the site itself. Precedents in the weathering effects on wood and shingles in particular are further developed to engage specific performance criteria for the project.
